Job Description

As a Crab Butcher, you will be responsible for preparing and butchering crabs efficiently and skillfully for culinary purposes. Your expertise will play a vital role in our culinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Trim, clean, and fillet crab meat for various dishes.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory of seafood products and place orders when necessary.
  • Assist in developing new menu items and recipes.
  • Train new staff on crab butchery techniques.
  • Engage in continuous improvement practices within the kitchen.
  • Stay informed on seasonal availability of crab species.
  • Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.

Requirements

Education
  • Culinary Arts Certification preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in seafood preparation, preferably with crabs
Technical Skills
