Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Camp Director to oversee all aspects of our camp operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, ensuring a safe and enriching environment for our campers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and camp programming.
• Coordinate logistics for off-site excursions and activities.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Evaluate camp programs and make improvements.
• Foster a supportive environment for both staff and campers.
• Maintain communication with parents regarding camper progress.
• Organize staff training and evaluations.
• Address administrative tasks such as scheduling and budgets.
• Assist with marketing efforts to promote upcoming camps.
• Network with local community organizations for partnerships.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management, Outdoor Education, or related field

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in camp management or a related role

• Strong leadership and management abilities

Certifications

• First-aid and CPR certification
• Valid driver's license
