Paper Goods Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Paper Goods Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders who will be responsible for setting up and operating equipment used in the production of paperboard boxes. You will play a key role in ensuring that production meets quality and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate paperboard cutting and folding machinery.
• Ensure that production processes meet established safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet daily output goals.
• Document production data and machine performance.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss improvements and efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus

Technical Skills

• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of safety procedures

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Adaptability

Advantageous

• Experience with quality control processes: Ability to conduct inspections and assessments of product quality.
• Competence in using measurement tools: Experience with rulers, calipers and other measuring devices.
