Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Patient Registration Representative to join our healthcare organization. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately registering patients, collecting necessary information, and ensuring a smooth registration process. The ideal candidate should possess excellent customer service skills and knowledge of medical terminology while demonstrating the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Input and maintain patient data in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Collect co-pays and verify patient insurance information during registration.
  • Facilitate communication between patients and clinical staff.
  • Ensure all necessary forms are completed accurately and thoroughly.
  • Monitor and manage patient flow to minimize wait times.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve registration processes.
  • Assist with data entry and administrative tasks as needed.
  • Educate patients about office policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.

Requirements

Education
  • Associates degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in patient registration or related roles.

Languages
  • English: Fluent
