Job Description

As a Metal-Refining Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating electric furnaces to melt and refine metals, ensuring production of high-quality products. Monitoring temperatures and adjusting controls are key responsibilities, ensuring production standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Manage temperature settings and control parameters for optimal metal production.
• Engage in routine inspections and maintenance of equipment.
• Analyze and troubleshoot operational issues to prevent downtime.
• Implement improvements based on production data analysis.
• Work with the quality assurance team to develop standards for finished metal products.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in handling hazardous materials and waste management is preferred

• MS Office Suite

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Hazardous Materials Handling Training: Certification in handling hazardous materials and waste management.
