Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Health Sanitarian to join our team. This role entails ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting inspections, and implementing sanitation measures to safeguard public health.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed reports following inspections and investigations.
• Assist in emergency response planning related to public health threats.
• Develop strategies to improve community sanitation practices.
• Monitor the implementation of public health initiatives in the community.
• Collaborate closely with local health departments and agencies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field
• Master's degree in Public Health is preferred

Experience

• Experience working with diverse populations is a plus

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of GIS

Soft Skills

• Time management

Certifications

• Certification in Health Education or Promotion is a plus

Languages

• Spanish: Conversational
