Job Description

As a Metal-Refining Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining industrial furnaces in our manufacturing process. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that all products meet quality standards while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of metal-refining furnaces to meet production goals.
• Calibrate equipment settings to ensure accurate temperature control.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the work area.
• Document and report any discrepancies in production processes.
• Assist in the training and onboarding of new staff members.
• Participate in safety audits and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Communicate effectively with the production team regarding workflow and safety practices.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience with industrial ovens or in metallurgy is preferred

Technical Skills

• Physical dexterity and stamina
• Knowledge of safety procedures

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Certification in food handling/safety
• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Spanish: Conversational
