Job Description

As a Childcare Worker, you will be responsible for caring for and supervising children in a nursery setting. Your role involves ensuring their safety while engaging them in age-appropriate activities that promote their growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Create a safe and engaging atmosphere for the children.
  • Monitor children's interactions and development, reporting any concerns.
  • Incorporate educational games that support early childhood learning.
  • Work as a part of a team, supporting colleagues in a variety of tasks.
  • Participate in continuing education and training programs.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of children's activities and behaviors.
  • Establish positive relationships with families and communicate openly.
  • Engage in playful activities to encourage creativity.
  • Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and policies.
  • Promote a culture of respect and inclusivity.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in early childhood education is preferred
Experience
  • Prior experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly preferred.
