Job Description

As an Environmental Restoration Planner, you'll lead initiatives focused on developing and implementing habitat conservation plans. Your expertise will ensure compliance with environmental regulations while collaborating with stakeholders to enhance restoration efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Design comprehensive habitat conservation plans that integrate ecological science.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to align on conservation strategies.
  • Analyze data using GIS and other tools to inform conservation planning.
  • Draft and review environmental impact assessments related to restoration activities.
  • Promote awareness of conservation issues through outreach and education programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies or related field
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in environmental restoration
Technical Skills
  • Statistical analysis software (e.g., R, SPSS)
  • Environmental regulations knowledge
