Mobile Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Job Description

Looking for a Mobile Heavy Equipment Mechanic with expertise in diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues in heavy machinery. This role involves both fieldwork and shop-based maintenance duties.

Responsibilities

• Repair engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems of heavy machinery.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to ensure minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with service team members to meet project deadlines.
• Prepare equipment for inspections and ensure it meets operational standards.
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to a safe working environment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in automotive or mechanical engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair

• ASE Certification Preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
