Job Description
As a Hydroelectric Production Manager, you will lead the daily operations of our hydroelectric power station, ensuring safe and efficient power generation. The ideal candidate will be skilled in maintenance and water management systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily management of hydroelectric facility operations.
- Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed by all staff.
- Collaborate with engineers to optimize equipment performance.
- Prepare detailed reports on plant performance for regulatory compliance.
- Train staff in emergency response and safety practices.
- Oversee inventory management of maintenance parts and equipment.
- Implement energy conservation measures to improve efficiency.
- Maintain an understanding of environmental impact regulations.
- Assist in budget preparation and cost control measures.
- Support project planning for upgrades and new installations.
Requirements
Education
- Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
- Certification in hydropower management is preferred
Experience
- 8+ years of experience in hydropower or energy management
