Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

Job Description

We seek a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our team. You will help clients develop communication skills while working closely with speech-language pathologists and their families.

Responsibilities

• Help implement speech therapy exercises and strategies.
• Document client sessions and report progress to the supervising therapist.
• Work with clients' families to reinforce therapy techniques at home.
• Participate in regular training and workshops to improve skills.
• Ensure all therapy materials are prepared and organized for sessions.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and welcoming therapy environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients to make therapy engaging and effective.
• Adhere to established therapy protocols and ethical guidelines.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant is preferred.

Experience

• Previous experience working with clients preferred.
