Mechanical Drafter

Job Description

As a Mechanical Drafter, you'll play a critical role in our production team, designing molds that are essential for our manufacturing processes. Your expertise will bridge the gap between engineering and production, ensuring that the molds meet all specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine mold designs using industry-standard software.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure designs meet production needs.
• Establish and update design documentation consistent with company standards.
• Evaluate mold designs for process improvements and innovation.
• Help train new team members on design processes and software tools.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience

• 5 years of experience in mold design and injection molding

Technical Skills

• Moldflow
• CAM Software

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in CAM software: Experience with CAM software is a plus for designing intricate components.
• Knowledge of advanced molding techniques: Understanding of innovative molding techniques to improve product quality.
