Job Description

Join our team at Logistics Solutions Inc. as a Driver, where you will be instrumental in delivering goods efficiently and safely. We seek individuals with excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and comply with federal, state, and local laws.
• Ensure vehicles are well-maintained and clean.
• Load and secure cargo before transport.
• Perform routine inspections on vehicle and report any issues.
• Maintain accurate records of cargo deliveries.
• Follow directions from dispatchers promptly.
• Assist with the training of new drivers as needed.
• Maintain a good rapport with clients and provide exceptional service.
• Utilize GPS and other navigation tools for route planning.
• Document any incidents or accidents and notify management.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Preferred but not required - experience in logistics or transportation.

Technical Skills

• Vehicle Maintenance
• Cargo Handling

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Customer Service

Certifications

• Forklift Operator Certification
• Hazmat Certification (optional)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience operating commercial vehicles: Hands-on experience in driving large trucks and delivering goods.
• Familiarity with local roads and traffic patterns: Knowledge of the Atlanta metropolitan area preferred.
