Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Steam Table Worker to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will operate and maintain steam table equipment while ensuring food items are stored correctly and served with the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage steam table equipment operations, ensuring functionality and cleanliness.
• Handle and store food items appropriately, following safety regulations.
• Prepare various dishes, accommodating customer requests efficiently.
• Monitor food temperature and presentation at the steam table.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, resolving queries and providing assistance politely.
• Regularly clean the steam table and surrounding areas.
• Help in prep work during peak hours.
• Work alongside other kitchen staff to enhance service efficiency.
• Comply with safety and health regulations regarding food handling.
• Track inventory levels and notify supervisors of any supply issues.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Food Handler's Certificate preferred

Experience

• Previous experience in food service is advantageous.
