Job Description

The Sugar House Supervisor plays a pivotal role in managing the daily operations of our maple syrup production facility. This includes overseeing staff, ensuring quality control measures are adhered to, and maintaining equipment to deliver the finest syrup.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of syrup production operations including tapping trees and bottling syrup.
  • Conduct training sessions for production workers, emphasizing quality standards.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of production equipment.
  • Coordinate inventory management for both raw materials and finished products.
  • Draft and manage production schedules aligned with sales forecasts.
  • Implement food safety protocols and quality assurance programs.
  • Document production outcomes and identify areas for operational enhancements.
