Job Description

As a Family Advocate, you will play a critical role in supporting families, particularly those in crisis. You'll provide guidance, counseling, and connect families to essential resources, facilitating their path to stability and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments for families.
  • Offer guidance, emotional support, and crisis intervention.
  • Facilitate connections with local resources and agencies.
  • Work alongside various service providers to enhance family support.
  • Document family interactions, updating progress notes regularly.
  • Participate in training sessions to refine advocacy skills.
  • Engage in community outreach to raise awareness of support services.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
  • Master's degree in Social Work is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in social advocacy or related fields.
