Job Description
The Hide Selector is responsible for selecting and preparing hides for processing in the leather industry. They will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that the highest quality hides are chosen and properly treated.
Responsibilities
Inspect and assess hides for suitability.
Prepare hides for the next steps in the processing line.
Regularly communicate with supervisors regarding inventory levels.
Participate in safety training and uphold safety standards.
Assist with inventory management and reporting.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
Prior experience in the leather industry is preferred
