Job Description

The Hide Selector is responsible for selecting and preparing hides for processing in the leather industry. They will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that the highest quality hides are chosen and properly treated.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and assess hides for suitability.
  • Prepare hides for the next steps in the processing line.
  • Regularly communicate with supervisors regarding inventory levels.
  • Participate in safety training and uphold safety standards.
  • Assist with inventory management and reporting.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Prior experience in the leather industry is preferred
