Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Shaft Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will maintain, repair, and troubleshoot various shaft systems critical to our manufacturing operations. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth functioning of our equipment and minimizing downtime.

Responsibilities

• Analyze root causes of shaft failures and recommend solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Work on complex shaft-related projects under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Ensure maintenance areas are tidy and organized for safety and efficiency.
• Assist with installation of new shaft systems and modifications to existing setups.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant vocational training or apprenticeship preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in heavy machinery maintenance

Technical Skills

• Shaft system diagnostics
• Preventive maintenance

Soft Skills

• Effective communication
• Time management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in team leadership roles: Ability to lead and mentor junior mechanics effectively.
