Job Description

As a Setup Technician, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process by ensuring that various cutting, punching, and press machines operate efficiently. You will be responsible for installation, setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting, ensuring that equipment runs smoothly and meets production goals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure machine readiness for production schedules.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to meet product standards.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Adjust machinery for different manufacturing projects as required.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.
• Assist in the development of training materials for new hires.
• Monitor production output and respond promptly to any equipment-related issues.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training or an associate degree in manufacturing technology preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or machinery operation
