Job Description

As a Poll Watcher, you will play a crucial role in the electoral process by monitoring voting activities and ensuring compliance with all election regulations. The position requires attention to detail and strong communication skills to assist voters and report any irregularities.

Responsibilities

  • Observe the election process to maintain a fair environment for voters.
  • Assist in setting up and closing down polling places.
  • Document any issues and resolutions during the voting process.
  • Provide assistance to voters and ensure they understand the voting process.
  • Report findings to the Election Manager.
  • Ensure polling places are accessible and compliant with regulations.
  • Collect and verify voter registration forms.
  • Engage with the community to encourage voter participation.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Previous experience in community organizing, election monitoring, or customer service is preferred.

Languages
  • English: Fluent
