Local Bakery Co. is hiring a talented Cake Decorator who is passionate about pastry arts and has an eye for detail. In this role, you will create custom cakes, manage inventory of baking supplies, and maintain the cleanliness of your workspace. Your artistic flair will help elevate our cakes to new heights and delight our customers.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and beautifully decorate cakes for weddings, birthdays, and other celebrations.
• Ensure all cakes meet the quality standards set by the bakery.
• Take part in inventory checks to ensure all necessary supplies are available for cake decorating.
• Assist in training junior bakers in advanced cake decorating techniques.
• Work with the Head Pastry Chef on seasonal cake promotions and special offers.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Culinary Arts degree or equivalent is a plus

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in a bakery setting, preferably in cake decoration.

• Fondant Art
