Geological Technician

Job Description

As a Geological Technician with Construction Solutions LLC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our construction materials. You’ll conduct field and laboratory tests while collaborating closely with engineers and project managers to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analysis of construction materials to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the lab and field.
• Document equipment maintenance and calibration activities.
• Support project teams with material selection and quality assessments.
• Work collaboratively with environmental scientists to understand material impacts.
• Participate in local community engagement activities related to construction projects.
• Communicate test results promptly to project managers for timely decision-making.
• Assist in the implementation of new testing technologies and practices.
• Coordinate with suppliers for materials testing to ensure quality.
• Stay updated on advancements in geological testing technologies.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Geology or Civil Engineering is highly preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in geological or environmental testing

Technical Skills

• Field Testing Equipment

Certifications

• NCPCC Certification in Construction Materials Testing

Languages

• English: Fluent
