Job Description

As an Ophthalmic Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and shaping glass to create high-quality optical products. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills, as you work closely with designers to meet specific customer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Operate glass cutting machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Adjust tools and equipment settings as needed for optimal performance.
  • Resolve any technical issues that arise during the fabrication process.
  • Work as part of a team to meet production deadlines.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate degree in manufacturing technology is a plus
Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in the glass industry is preferred.
