Job Description

We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our Denver-based team. In this role, you will harness the power of data to drive business insights and strategies. You'll be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, ensuring the availability and reliability of data for analysis and decision-making. Collaborate closely with data scientists and analysts to create meaningful data solutions that influence significant company initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in ETL processes, data warehousing, and proficiency in SQL and Python.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and design data warehouses and data lakes.
  • Incorporate best practices for data management and modeling.
  • Automate manual data processes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Engage with IT to ensure the necessary infrastructure is in place.
  • Lead projects related to data system improvements and optimizations.
  • Establish key performance indicators for data handling.
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive data projects.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Master's degree in Data Analytics or a related field is preferred
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics roles
