Job Description

The Switchboard Operator plays a vital role in ensuring communication flows seamlessly within the organization. You will be the first point of contact for incoming calls and the welcoming face for visitors, providing essential support to various departments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the switchboard and ensure calls are routed correctly and timely.
  • Assist visitors with directions and information on company procedures.
  • Keep records of all incoming and outgoing calls.
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies and inventory for the reception area.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed by the office manager.
  • Implement policies for the reception area to maintain a professional atmosphere.
  • Support the HR department with onboarding visitors and new hires.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and provide assistance wherever needed.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
