Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated Blocking Machine Tender to join our production team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and be skilled in operating blocking machines to ensure the efficient manufacture of various products. Responsibilities
- Run blocking machines to produce high-quality products.
- Inspect machinery and perform basic repairs as needed.
- Record production details, including quantity and quality metrics.
- Work collaboratively within the production team to meet targets.
- Follow safety standards to minimize workplace hazards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.
- Assist in training less experienced operators.
- Optimize use of materials to reduce waste.
- Actively participate in team discussions to enhance overall efficiency.
Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
Experience
- Preferred experience in a manufacturing environment
Technical Skills
- Machinery Maintenance
- Logistics Understanding

- Communication Skills
Languages
- English: Fluent
Advantageous
- Technical certifications in machinery operation: Additional certifications in machine operation or maintenance will be an asset.
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies: Experience with continuous improvement frameworks is advantageous.
