Job Description

We are looking for dedicated Range Managers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the preservation of historical artifacts and cultural heritage sites. You will be responsible for developing restoration plans, collaborating with other professionals, and ensuring that our cultural treasures are protected and maintained for future generations.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify assets needing preservation and develop detailed work plans.
• Supervise conservation efforts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and methods.
• Compile detailed documentation to track the condition and treatment of artifacts.
• Forge collaborative relationships with external partners to enhance preservation initiatives.
• Seek and apply for grants to support ongoing preservation work.
• Educate the public through outreach initiatives about cultural heritage.
• Analyze and integrate new preservation technologies into current practices.
• Contribute to the development of long-term preservation strategies.
• Assist in the preparation of educational materials and resources for community engagement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Historic Preservation, Conservation, or a related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field (preferred)

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in preservation or conservation

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of preservation principles
• Experience with collection management software

Soft Skills

• Critical thinking
• Public speaking

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in conducting archaeological investigations: Ability to perform fieldwork related to archaeological preservation.
