Network Administrator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Network Administrator to manage our network infrastructure and ensure optimal system performance. The successful candidate will be proactive in identifying and resolving network issues, as well as implementing upgrades to our systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze network traffic and resource usage to optimize performance.
• Develop and maintain network documentation and diagrams.
• Conduct regular network audits to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to mitigate threats.
• Maintain inventory of network assets and software licenses.
• Prepare reports on network performance metrics for management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering or similar field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a network admin role

Technical Skills

• Virtual Private Networks (VPN)
• Routing Protocols

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Time Management

Certifications

• Juniper Networks Certification
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with ITIL framework: Knowledge of ITIL principles for IT service management.
• Experience with cloud networking solutions: Understanding of cloud-based networking technologies.
