Hogshead Mat Assembler

Job Description

We are in search of a dedicated Hogshead Mat Assembler to join our production team. The assembler will be responsible for efficiently assembling hogshead mats used in the tobacco industry, ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and finish mats using designated tools and machinery.
• Adhere to safety standards in all production processes.
• Maintain accurate records of production output and quality checks.
• Support team in identifying process improvements for better workflow.
• Assist with the training of new hires in assembly processes and safety.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.
• Stay informed about production schedules and adjust work accordingly.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in a manufacturing role is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

• Hand-eye coordination
• Basic mechanical skills

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Safety Training Certification (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
