Job Description

As a Surveying and Mapping Technician, you will update and maintain digital maps using GIS software, ensuring the accuracy of geographic data. You will collaborate with different departments to meet mapping needs while staying current with GIS technology.

Responsibilities

• Maintain integrity and accuracy of GIS data.
• Regularly update mapping software and tools.
• Cooperate with project managers to meet specific mapping needs.
• Train users on how to interpret and utilize maps effectively.
• Develop methodologies for data correction and enhancement.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Geographic Information Systems or a related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in GIS or mapping

Technical Skills

• Web Mapping APIs
• Remote Sensing Data

Certifications

• Certified GIS Technician

Languages

• English: Fluent
