Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Bindery Machine Setter to manage the setup and operation of our advanced binding equipment. Your technical skills will directly contribute to producing high-quality printed materials.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate bindery equipment for various printing jobs.
• Monitor equipment during operation, making adjustments as needed.
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Document production data and machine maintenance records.
• Communicate with supervisors about production issues and needs.
• Train and mentor junior staff on machine operations and safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in bindery operations preferred

Technical Skills

• Binding Techniques
• Troubleshooting

Advantageous

• Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues: Proficient in identifying and resolving mechanical problems promptly.
• Experience with different types of paper and materials: Understanding of how various materials behave in the bindery process.
