Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain flatcars to ensure optimal performance.
• Identify and report any damages or safety concerns.
• Remove debris obstructing flatcar tracks.
• Safely operate tools and equipment for minor repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards at all times.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with team members.
• Maintain records of inspections and maintenance tasks.
• Assist with training new employees on safety and operational procedures.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED

Experience

• Experience in railroad operations preferred.

• Flatcar operations
