Neon Glass Blower

Job Description

Join our creative team as a Neon Glass Blower. This role involves designing and crafting neon art pieces, collaborating with clients and designers to bring ideas to life, while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Construct neon tubes and implement bending techniques to shape designs.
• Participate in team brainstorming sessions for new project ideas.
• Document processes and maintain accurate records of production.
• Train and mentor new apprentices in glass-blowing techniques.
• Prepare finished products for installation or delivery.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a formal apprenticeship or training program in glassblowing and/or neon lighting is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in glassblowing and neon lighting.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in various types of glass
• Use of CAD software

Soft Skills

• Team-oriented mindset
• Ability to work under pressure

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of electric and gas connections for neon lighting.: Understanding the technical aspects of neon lighting installation.
• Skill in troubleshooting neon lighting issues.: Ability to quickly diagnose and fix common neon lamp problems.
