Metal-Refining Furnace Operator

Job Description

As a Metal-Refining Furnace Operator, you'll be responsible for operating refining furnaces and ensuring the efficiency of the refining process. We are looking for candidates who have a strong understanding of metal properties and refining techniques.

Responsibilities

• Monitor temperatures and material flow during the refining process.
• Prepare and mix materials for the refining process as needed.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments.
• Document all refining processes and results accurately.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associates degree in Metallurgy or related field is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Certifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Forklift Operator Certification

Languages
