Job Description

As a Band Saw Operator, your primary responsibility will be to operate and maintain band saw machines, ensuring that all metal products meet our quality standards. This position requires a keen attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Configure band saw settings based on the material being processed.
• Document production outputs and report any discrepancies in quality.
• Assist in the training of new operators in safe operating procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.
• Perform quality checks and ensure correct cutting parameters.
• Utilize measurement tools to verify cut dimensions.
• Coordinate with other departments to streamline workflow.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certificate in Manufacturing Technology is a plus

Experience

• Experience in metal fabrication or related field is preferred.
